During my travels, I have discovered some old gravestones that mark the history of the Scudder family. Some of the headstones are old and disintegrating. It is important that we try to preserve our history. Therefore, I am starting this forum with the hope that many family members will add to it. Here is a stone of Nathaniel Scudder that I found at the Old Tennent Cemetary in Monmouth County, New Jersey. "He fell in defense of his country."
