Scudder Association Board

This was not a one person effort but, rather, collaborative effort. I am greatful for all the help.

Here is the India Grants Committee Report. Due to the lack of response from last year's recipiants we have decided to change the approach, which is also more professional.

Also attached is our 3 page doccument that is our Grants Application. It took a lot of work drafting, reviewing, recommending modifications by the Committee and others.

Jon, with Rock River Star, and I recently tested Dim Dim's virtual meeting software. From what I saw it is a very realistic option for The Scudder Association Board or Committee Meetings to start.

A Few Notes:

- One person hosts the meeting and others can join in via email invite.
- The person hosting the meeting can share their desktop with everyone so they can see what the host is doing through a web browser.
- The Host of the meeting is also visible to everyone through a web cam but no one else is able to create a webcam feed.

Since our last Board meeting the Website, Membership, and Genealogy Committees had gotten together to discuss the Membership application process, Membership Management and Members' Genealogical Records. In our meeting we defined the current application process, how it can be simplified, streamlined and move closer to one MASTER Membership Data Base, managed through the website.
